Joppa High Volleyball Competition
Junior and Senior High students were given some
time out of classes on Friday, October 27 to end the week long's events of Red Ribbon activities. Red Ribbon week's activities commemorate the attitudes we should have towards drugs in the world today.
Students dressed accordingly to show how drugs can interfere with our lives in a variety of ways throughout the week (photos are under student life pages).
Each grade was led to play the next upper grade against a competitive game of volleyball.
The event kicked off by Mrs. Artman, The Spirit Squad, the Junior High Cheerleaders,
and the fantastic Senior High Cheerleaders was followed by the competition in volleyball.
The games were tough as the younger students competed against the older and by a very close game, the Seniors prevailed as the JHS Champions!
The winning class received a prize and are featured in the photo.
