School
was surprised Tuesday, September 11 with a Contemporary Rock group named
Shade Tree. The group consists of five outgoing guys that gave a testimony
of their lives in high school, in which several of their friends committed
suicide. They encourage students with their music to hang in there amongst
the trials and tribulations that life brings to high school students. Shade
Tree started under the name Shade Tree Mechanics in 2001, in central
Illinois. They are doing a five month tour at high schools throughout Ohio,
Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida.
